SAST exists to equip Pentecostal leaders through preparation which emphasizes academic excellence and ministerial empowerment.

This is not just the vision statement for SAST, but it is our heartbeat.  SAST is located about 1.5 hours west of Pretoria in the city of Rustenburg and has become the center of our passion for South Africa.  

In a country where Christianity is often mixed with ancestral worship or heretical teaching, the need to raise up well-trained and fully prepared men and women is pressing.  

Chris is currently the Campus Director and as such he leads the college administratively while also teaching and mentoring students.  His greatest passion is to participate with the Holy Spirit in the trans-formative process of those God has called to leadership in His church in South Africa.

Amy is a valuable lecturer and oversees the kitchen as well as the shopping for the campus.  She teaches the writing and English courses (extremely valuable when students are working in their 3rd language).  Additionally, she has home-schooled our kids the past few years. She enjoys spending time with and entertaining our African friends and students most of all!  

It is our privilege and joy to be part of this refining process which God has each student in.  We are grateful that the Lord has called us to this task!
